Welcome to the Second Theory website (the "Second Theory Site" or the "Site").

By placing an order with Second Theory ("Second Theory", "we", "us" or "our") for products which are sold on the Site ("Products") you will be deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these T&Cs ("T&Cs"). Please read these T&Cs carefully.

We amend these T&Cs from time to time. Every time you order Products from us, the T&Cs in force at the time of your order will apply to the contract between you and us. You can review the most current version of the Terms of Service at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms and Conditions by posting updates and/or changes to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of or access to the website following the posting of any changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.

These Terms and Conditions apply to all users of the Site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Section 1 – Eligibility

1.1 In order to make a purchase through the Site or to use some of the services or features made available to you on our Site you may be required to register. When you register, you may be required to provide information about yourself including, but not limited to, your name, telephone number and email address, which is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects.

1.2 Should any of your registration information change in future you are required to amend your personal online account immediately. We may change registration requirements from time to time. Furthermore, when ordering items, you will be required to provide payment details and you represent and warrant that the payment details you provide on ordering are both valid and correct and you confirm that you are the person referred to in the billing information provided.

Section 2 – Creating an Account

2.1 The user of this website may set up an account before availing any online services provided through the Website. The user can create an account by entering an email address and password or by using any permitted login method made available on the Site. The email address provided by you will be your mode of communication for all information communicated by Second Theory regarding your orders, refunds, cancellations, etc., so please ensure you use a valid and correct email address for registration.

2.2 The list of user information required to be provided by the user, the manner of usage, protection and confidentiality of user information and account information are more specifically dealt with under our Privacy Policy and you are requested to read carefully the Privacy Policy before sharing user information or creating an account on this website.

Section 3 – Pricing Policy

3.1 Product prices are displayed on the Website when clicking on a product. All prices specified on the Website are shown in Indian Rupees (₹), including Goods and Services Tax (GST) and exclude delivery fees in cases where such fees apply. Delivery fees are specified to the Customer before confirmation of the order and will, where applicable, be charged additionally.

3.2 The total amount due to be paid by the Customer, excluding delivery fees, is shown before final confirmation of the order. The amount appears first in the “My Cart” section. The full amount including delivery fees (where applicable) is shown in the “Order Review” section that appears after clicking on “Proceed to checkout” and after the information necessary to process the order has been filled out.

3.3 Second Theory reserves the right to modify prices at any moment, while guaranteeing the application of the prevailing prices at the time of the order.

Section 4 – Product Availability

4.1 The Products offered on the Website are subject to stock availability. If it turns out that a Product ordered by the Customer is no longer available, we will inform you as soon as possible and cancel the order. You will be fully refunded with an amount corresponding to the price of the unavailable Product and any delivery charges paid for it, within a reasonable time after the date of payment. However, if only part of the Products ordered is unavailable, the delivery fees paid for the Products that are available and delivered will not be reimbursed.

4.2 Second Theory reserves the right to modify the catalogue of Products offered for sale on its website. Orders placed by the Customer prior to the modifications will not be affected.

Section 5 – Ordering Process

5.1 To place and complete an order, the Customer may be required to create an account on our website. Further, you should take notice of the terms regarding the protection of your personal information in our Privacy Policy stated separately in detail.

5.2 As you place an order on our website, you can choose the Products you wish to purchase by clicking on “Add to Cart”. After adding the Products, you may choose “Continue Shopping” or “Cart & Checkout”.

5.3 All selected Products are gathered in “My Cart”. By clicking on “My Cart” the Customer can verify the details of their order and the total price excluding delivery fees. The Customer may also consult the Terms and Conditions of Sales, modify their order through the “My Cart” section and return to previous pages using their web browser.

5.4 After having verified the content of the “Shopping Cart”, the Customer may click on the icon “Proceed to Checkout”. The Customer will be asked to enter billing, delivery and payment information necessary for processing the order. After submitting the required information, the Customer will be redirected to the “Order Review” page which summarizes the ordered Products, the total price including Goods and Services Tax and delivery fees where applicable. The order will be final when the Customer accepts the Terms and Conditions by clicking on “Place Order”. Through this action, the Customer agrees to be legally bound by the sales contract established with Second Theory.

5.5 We will confirm the order by sending an email to the email address provided by you. The email contains details of the purchased order and confirmation of purchase. A second email may be sent when the order is dispatched. It is important that the Customer provides a valid and correct email address.

Section 6 – Cancelling Orders

6.1 If you wish to cancel an order, please write to us at hello.secondtheory@gmail.com within 24 hours of placing your order.

6.2 Refunds of cancelled prepaid orders may take up to 3–5 business days (excluding bank holidays) to be credited back to the original mode of payment.

6.3 Any payment gateway or bank convenience fees charged during the transaction may not be refunded as they are charged by the respective payment service provider.

6.4 Orders may only be cancelled as a whole and not partially. Refunds will be initiated after confirmation of cancellation.

Section 7 – Payment

7.1 By confirming an order, the Customer agrees to pay the full price of the ordered Products and any related delivery fees where applicable. The Customer declares that they have the necessary authority to use the selected payment method.

7.2 The payment methods accepted on the Website are shown at checkout. Orders may be paid using available options including debit cards, credit cards, UPI, net banking or other methods displayed. Payment processing is carried out through secure third-party payment gateways. Customers may be redirected to their bank’s authentication page to confirm payment.

7.3 These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
